WELCOME

I am a bi-racial, bi-cultural therapist with locations near the West Village and the Upper East Side, where I see adults, couples, business partners, adolescents, and parents. If we decide to work together we will work in partnership to discover your inner life and what is painful or difficult for you. I provide a warm, collaborative, and playful spirit within the therapeutic encounter, welcoming thoughts big and small, important and (seemingly) mundane, as being part of the puzzle that make up your inner psychic life. Attentive listening, active dialogue, radical curiosity, and detailed inquiry are the cornerstones of my practice.

I believe in tangible results, and that action is as important as insight, such that one without the other often doesn’t produce the results we hope to see. It is through insight that we develop the courage to take action, and it is through action and lived experience that we can elaborate our insight and self-awareness.
